Heart of England Rotary Rotary District 1060

Heart of England e-Rotary

Belonging to Rotary clubs gives men and women an enjoyable and organised way to make a contribution to their community.

Typically, Rotary members meet weekly to plan service activities. By using their skills and expertise, members also enhance their professional network, career development, and cross-cultural understanding.

The core essence of Rotary is a worldwide network of inspired individuals who translate their passions into relevant social causes to change lives in communities.

Introducing a new way to become a member of Rotary

Rotary e-clubs follow the same policies as 'conventional' Rotary clubs. The key difference is that an eClub conducts its meetings on the club’s website and using other social networking tools. Rather than being physically present at an appointed day and time, members may interact with the e-club at any time and any day of the week.

This approach takes account of the fact that people's lives are generally busier and where we now interact with others in a far wider range of ways.

Membership criteria:

Either currently, or for a period of time you need to have lived, worked or conducted business anywhere within the Rotary District 1060 area [most of the West Midlands, Warwickshire and the bordering Counties of Worcestershire & Staffordshire]

If you are interested in joining Rotary, but are unable to attend a weekly meeting in person, the eClub option offers the opportunity to meet, conduct service projects, and participate in Rotary friendship. Rotary District 1060 are exploring the possibility of starting a Rotary eClub. If you are interested, and would like to find out more, use one of the options below:

e-Club forum is now live

An on-line forum for the e-Club is now live and available to members/prospective members once they log in.

The forum will allow us to introduce ourselves, discuss ways to interact and start getting initial thoughts on activities for the club.
