'Kick Off' event
The cluster of clubs centred around Royal Leamington Spa [Royal Leamington Spa, Leamington Regency, Kenilworth, Southam, Southam 2000, Alcester RCs and the Leamington & Warwick Rotaract Club] will be starting their campaign by having a Membership Recruitment stand in the Royal Priors Shopping Centre, Leamington Spa tomorrow, Saturday 5th March between 10.00 am & 4.00 pm. It will be our first event at working together and we will be trying out the new brochures, posters and the new addresses for web, email and freephone to register interest after the event has finished.
So, a new experience for us!
More later when we have measured the response and, of course, followed up any potential new Rotarians & Rotaractors to encourage them to join the Service

'Kick-off' Event - 2
The Event turned out to be a great success! Tremendous enthusiasm from all of the team members who turned up to lend a hand. We had more volunteers than we needed at all times of the day we covered - we met & greeted a number of members of the public and certainly increased their awareness of Rotary and what it stands for in our local community. The stand looked excellent and we were positioned close to the down escalator in the Royal Priors Shopping Centre, Leamington Spa and we had a good stream passing us at all times. Some 150 leaflets were handed out and 11 positive enquiries about membership were received on the slips of paper used to record individual details. Now for the hard work to try & convert those who left their details into club members at one of the clubs in the District
