Introducing a new way to become a member of Rotary
The essence of Rotary is a worldwide network of inspired individuals who translate their passions into relevant social causes to change lives in communities.
Rotary e-Clubs follow the same policies as 'conventional' Rotary clubs. The key difference is that an e-Club conducts its meetings on the club’s website and using other social networking tools. Rather than being physically present at an appointed day and time, members may interact with the e-Club at any time and any day of the week.
This approach takes account of the fact that people's lives are generally busier, more mobile and where we now interact with others in a far wider range of ways.
Membership Criteria
Either currently, or for a period of time, you need to have lived, worked or conducted business anywhere within the Rotary District 1060 area [most of the West Midlands, Warwickshire and the bordering Counties of Worcestershire & Staffordshire].
If you are interested in joining Rotary, but is unable to attend a weekly meeting in person, the e-Club option still offers the opportunity to meet, conduct service projects, and participate in Rotary friendship. Rotary District 1060 is pleased to announce that it has now launched a Rotary e-Club provisionally called : Heart of England e-rotary.
