For over 50 years clubs from all around the district meet twice a year to battle for the honour of winning the Spring or Autumn competitions. Not only is it for the solo performance but also for your club. Prizes on the day go to the winner of Div 'A'(Under 17 Handicap), Div 'B'(17 & over), best Club, best on par '3s', best Gross and Veterans. There is also a trophy for the Golfer of the Year, this is a combined score from both meetings.
As a member of the society you are entitled to bring with you one guest. The day usually comprises of a round of golf followed by a 2 course meal and then the prize presentation. It is a great way of having fun & fellowship.
