Shipston Rotarians try to make a contribution to the lives of people in the Shipston/South Warwickshire area, and in many parts of the world, by supporting charities and good causes in the local community and International projects such as the campaign to end Polio. ♥
But we need to raise the money for all those good causes.
Our focus is on supporting young people. We help in a variety of ways at both local Primary and Secondary Schools and support many local charities and good causes that benefit young people, eg the Youth Club, the Scouts, Cubs, among others.
Through the events Shipston Rotary organises, such as the Victorian Evening, and those that Rotarians help with, such as the Shipston Wool Fair and the Hidden Britain initiative to encourage visitors to the town, we also aim to help and support local business.

2nd July 2017 10:0 am from Newbold-on-Stour Village Hall
Last year nearly 200 cyclists took part and it was a great family day out. The unique blend of 2 rides includes the same 10 mile flat/family ride, as last year, with refreshments half way round, and an 'undulating' ride of more than 30 miles for the more experienced cyclist.
ORGANISED BY SHIPSTON ROTARY, part of the Woolly Weekend. On the Sunday afternoon before the main Wool Fair event on Bank Holiday Monday, a light-hearted afternoon of hymns, songs, poems and music. Local community groups will be invited to choose a favourite hymn or read a poem; local musicians, along with students from Shipston High and Primary Schools, will all play a part. Afternoon tea and delicious homemade cake. Donations will be divided between St.Edmunds and Shipston Rotary Charities.
We hope you enjoyed the Victorian Evening. A big thankyou to everyone who came along, nearly 2,500 people we think. Rotary raised nearly £5,000 for our charities and local good causes so a big thankyou to all who supported our charities and the other charities who raised much needed funds at the event.
Sorry about the ferris wheel, it had a slight accident en route but all OK.
